NuTech Academy was built on a simple observation: cloud engineering is one of the highest-paying, most in-demand career paths in the world — and most of the people who could thrive in it have never been given a real path in.
We exist to change that. Our students come from a wide range of professional backgrounds — not a single one technical. They did not come from computer science programs. They came with determination, curiosity, and a commitment to their own development.
We teach them cloud engineering the way it is actually done at work — hands-on, in real scenarios, with instructors who stay with them until they are hired. The program begins with a structured onboarding phase and progresses through to DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, and cloud infrastructure skills.

Session recordings are available after every class for review. That said, this is a rigorous, full-time program — students are encouraged to plan their enrollment period with focused, dedicated time for study.

NuTech Academy was founded to solve a specific problem: Chicago had no bootcamp that combined AWS, DevOps, and hands-on labs at a price working adults could actually afford — and no program that started from the very beginning for students with no tech background.
Our first cohorts produced engineers who made significant career changes to land AWS cloud roles. Their stories — real before-and-after career transformations — became the proof of concept that NuTech could do what others said wasn't possible.
Word spread beyond Chicagoland. Students from across the Midwest and then across the country joined live cohorts. The live-plus-recorded model made NuTech accessible to anyone with an internet connection and the drive to learn.
As AI tools reshaped the cloud engineering profession, NuTech integrated industry AI tools directly into the DevOps curriculum — not as a lecture, but woven into every relevant module. The program was extended to 8 months to reflect the expanded scope, and Observability was added as a dedicated track.
