Everything you need to know about the program — curriculum, certifications, schedule, what to expect, and how to get started. Read this page before you apply.
NuTech Academy's program was built for people who are starting from scratch or switching careers. If you are willing to commit to 4–5 sessions per week and do the work in between, this program will meet you where you are.
You are working in a non-tech field and ready to transition into a high-paying cloud engineering career. You want a clear path with real outcomes. You are ready to put in the work to get there.
Our student community comes from all backgrounds. Our instructors teach in clear, plain language and the community is welcoming. Tech vocabulary is taught — not assumed.
Never opened a terminal. Never written a line of code. That is fine — we start with what a computer actually is. The program is designed so that zero experience is a valid starting point.
The program is intensive and requires full commitment. Session recordings are available for review after each class, allowing students to revisit complex topics at their own pace.
Finished another program but still struggling to pass interviews? NuTech graduates consistently credit the hands-on labs and mock interview practice as what finally got them hired.
Already in help desk or system admin? This program will take your existing foundation and build AWS, DevOps, AI tools, and Observability on top of it — moving you toward senior-level roles.
Eight months of structured, instructor-led learning with labs, projects, and career support built in at every stage.
The curriculum is broken into focused phases. Each phase builds on the last. Click any phase to see what is covered.
Before your official start date, you will complete a structured set of onboarding materials and tasks. This phase ensures every student enters Phase 1 with the same baseline readiness — so no one starts behind. Completion of Phase 0 is required prior to official enrollment.
Everything starts here. You will learn how computers work, what Linux is, and how to navigate and control a server using the command line. Designed for complete beginners — covers the foundational skills every cloud and DevOps engineer uses every single day.
You will build, deploy, and scale real infrastructure on AWS. Covers the core services that appear in every cloud job posting and prepares you for both AWS certification exams.
Automate cloud infrastructure using code — and use AI tools to write, review, and deploy that code faster. Covers both the concepts and the tools used in production engineering teams today.
Build fully automated pipelines that take code from commit to production deployment — with zero manual steps. AI tools are integrated throughout to accelerate writing, testing, and debugging at every stage.
Package applications in containers and orchestrate them at scale using Kubernetes — the technology powering most of the internet's production workloads. Full preparation for two of the most respected certifications in cloud engineering.
Security is embedded in everything a DevOps engineer does. You will learn to build secure cloud environments that meet enterprise compliance requirements and defend against real-world threats.
Know what is happening inside your systems at all times. Build dashboards, configure alerts, trace requests across distributed services, and use AI tools to analyze logs and triage incidents faster.
Your final phase ties everything together. Design and deploy a full production-grade cloud environment — your portfolio centerpiece for any job interview. Career support runs alongside: resume preparation, LinkedIn optimization, mock technical interviews, and job search strategy.
Each certification is woven into the relevant phase of the curriculum — not crammed in at the end. AWS-certified engineers earn 20–30% more than non-certified peers.
Here is exactly what happens from the moment you apply to the day you accept your first tech role.
Fill out the contact form with your background and goals. An admissions advisor will reach out within 1 business day to answer your questions and walk you through the enrollment process.
A 30-minute call with an advisor — no pressure. We want to make sure this program is the right fit for your situation, your goals, and your schedule. If it is not, we will tell you honestly.
Once enrolled, you will be assigned to an upcoming cohort. You will receive your schedule, platform access, and a pre-program prep guide so you are ready from day one.
Attend 4–5 live sessions per week. Every session is recorded. Complete labs, projects, and assignments. Ask questions — instructors are reachable and responsive. No ticket system, no wait times.
During Phase 8 and after graduation: resume preparation, LinkedIn coaching, mock technical interviews, and personalized job search strategy. We stay with you until you land your first role — not just until you graduate.
95% of NuTech graduates land a cloud or DevOps role within 6 months of completing the program. Average salaries range from $118K for entry-level roles to $183K+ for senior positions.
Classes run 4–5 live sessions per week. The exact schedule is announced before each cohort opens — check the contact page or speak with admissions for the next cohort's schedule.
4–5 sessions per week. Every session is instructor-led and interactive. You can ask questions, work through problems in real time, and learn alongside your cohort.
Every session is recorded and available after class for review and reinforcement. Students are expected to attend live sessions and use recordings to revisit and consolidate complex material.
Hands-on labs accompany every module. Projects are self-paced within each phase. You will build real infrastructure, write real scripts, and deploy real environments.
Each cohort's specific weekly schedule is announced before enrollment opens. We protect at least one full day per week for family and personal time. Speak with admissions for the next cohort's schedule.
94% of companies use cloud. 90%+ can't find qualified engineers. NuTech graduates are filling that gap — and building careers paying $130K–$183K.
